🐉 What is DBA?
Dragon Ball Asylum is a competitive multiplayer RPG where you create a fighter, pick a race, and grind your way from Level 1 all the way to Champion rank. The game revolves around a wipe cycle - each wipe lasts roughly 3 months. During that time, everyone starts fresh and races to the top. At the end of each wipe, a special tournament is held with real cash prizes, in-game rewards for the next wipe, and a permanent statue in the Hall of Fame.
Along the way, you'll be training stats, unlocking transformations, completing quest medals, joining guilds, farming mobs, entering events, and competing in PvP. There's a lot to take in — that's what this wiki is for. Use the sidebar tabs to explore each system in detail.
🌍 What You'll Encounter
DBA has a lot of systems working together. Here's the short version of what you'll run into as you play:
Training & Stats — Core stats like Powerlevel, Ki, Strength, Defense, and Stamina. Raise them through Self Train, Shadow Spar, Meditation, and spending Training Points. Higher gravity rooms give better gains.
Rebirths — The progression system. You'll rebirth multiple times (0/3 through 6/3), resetting your level but keeping currencies and progress. The Walkthrough tab walks you through every step.
Races & Transformations — Choose a race at character creation. Each has its own transformation tree. Later you'll unlock Ultra forms and Dual Genes.
Currencies — Zenni, ZP, Training Points, EK, Ultra Points, Casino Tokens, and more. ZP is critical for level caps and gear.
Events & PvP — Sagas, Mayhem, tournaments, CTF, Mystical Cavern, Conquest, RBA, and more.
Quest Medals & Ranks — 53 Quest Medals earned from NPCs. You need them to break past level caps. Rank (Easy → Champion) is tied to level and medal count.
Guilds — Team up with other players. Guilds have houses, upgradeable facilities, evolution paths, and guild-specific events.

DBA runs on BYOND. Download the client, create an account, and join via the DBA Hub Page. Hit New to get started.

Create Your Character
Pick your race using a visual selector, customize your appearance, and name your character. Your race determines your transformation tree for the entire wipe. Check the Race & Transformations tab if you want to plan ahead.

Get Your Bearings
You'll spawn inside the Main Spawn House in front of Yamcha. Move with Arrow Keys or Numpad. Get familiar with the chat boxes (OOC, Local, Universe) and your stat panels.

Talk to Yamcha
Yamcha gives you a quest to reach Level 500 via the Self Train verb. At 500 you become a Permanent Combatant. Then ask Yamcha to unlock Instant Transmission to move around the map fast.

Follow the Game Loop
Keep leveling, earn Quest Medals, explore the map, and work toward your first Rebirth. Head to the Walkthrough tab for the full guide from 0/3 to Champion.
⚡ Things Every New Player Should Know
⚠️ Read the Rules. There are 23 of them, and Rule 23 is the Common Sense Rule — loopholes are punishable. Check the Rules tab before you get too deep.
💡 Save your special currencies. ZP, EK, Ultra Points, and Training Points are all valuable. Don't spend them randomly early on — you'll need them for level caps and gear.
💡 The game is free to play. Subscribe and Support tab for optional perks.
TIP Stay level headed and have fun. DBA is competitive, but it's also a community. Use the Ignore system if chat gets rough, join a guild, ask questions on Discord.

Skill Bar & Skillcards
Techniques use the Skill Bar and Skillcard GUI. Assign: Click an empty slot → select technique · Use: Press 1–9 · Target: Spacebar · Untarget: U
Keys 1–9, Spacebar, and U are hard-coded. Delete any macros bound to these keys to avoid conflicts.

Core Stats
- Powerlevel (PL): Your health — reaches 0 = KO/killed. Also controls the max amount of Ki, Ki Defense, Strength, and Defense you can have.
- Ki: Strength of ki attacks
- Ki Defense: Defence vs. ki attacks
- Strength: Strength of melee attacks
- Defense: Defence vs. melee attacks
- Fatigue (Stamina): How long you can train. Restore with treadmills
Abilities (talk to Hercule | cap: 75%)
- Block: Chance to block melee attacks
- Counter: Chance to counter melee attacks
- Critical: Chance to score a critical hit
- Dodge: Chance to dodge ki attacks
- Reflect: Chance to reflect ki attacks
Other Stats
- Level: Your current level. Raise through training, mobbing, and events
- TNL (Till Next Level): EXP required to reach your next level. TNL Cuts (ZP) reduce this number
- True Level (TL): Total levels this rebirth. Used for Dual Gene (10.5m TL) and Ultra Points (1m TL = 1 UP)
- Age: 1 hour real time = 1 month, 12 months = 1 year
- Universe: Which of the 4 Universes you belong to. G.o.D title holder leads the Universe
- Karma: Good or Evil. Required for NPC boosts (Guru = 25% Good, Babidi = 100% Evil)
🎯 Classes
Change at Z Agent (Level 100,000) or any level at Rebirth 4/3 or 5/3 for 25 ZP. Also changeable via Candy Broker NPC.
- Mystic: Ki builds — higher Ki gains per level
- Aggressor: STR builds — higher STR gains per level
- Guardian: Tank builds — higher DEF gains per level
- Velocitor: +5% EXP while mobbing + increased EXP while training ⭐ Best for new players

⚠️ Before EVERY Rebirth: 1. Complete all ZP Quests. 2. Leave your Guild or Transfer Ownership. 3. Unequip and store items in a Locker above Yamcha and Bank your Zenni. 4. Use as many Dragon Ball Wishes as possible (wishes reset per rebirth).

Buy Ultra Weights and Basic Shards to multiply your gains significantly.

Buy Level Caps (You Need 2)
Purchase 2 Level Cap increases from Z Agent (500 ZP each = 1,000 ZP total). This raises your cap to 150,000.

Collect Super Dragon Balls
Use your Level 4 Dragon Radar (or Ultimate Radar) in Space to find all 7 Super Dragon Balls. Make your one-time wish — ZP is the top recommendation. Your counter must show 1/1 before you can rebirth.

Boosting
Wait to boost until you have 150 Million in each of the 5 stats (base, no transformation). Boosts are one-time per rebirth — stack Guru/Babidi, Z-Suits, and equipment first. See the Boosts tab for the full chart.

Raise Your Stats
Kill Mobs with Stat Candies, use Gym Equipment, spend Training Points. The Clubhouse has fast-spawning frogs for stat candy training.

Choose Your SR Portal
At 150M stats, use all boosts. Choose an SR Portal from the Mob Farming tab, defeat its boss, and rebirth as that race. Check the Race Tier List before choosing — this matters!

Once at 500k, start selling levels for ZP at the Exchanger NPC. Beerus only requires 500k True Level to begin the trials — you can sell levels above that.

Purchase Hakai from Z Agent if you haven't already. You will need it for the Beerus trials.

At 8B base stats, stack all boosts and prepare for Beerus' three trials: Instruction, Endurance (survive Sentinel waves), and Growth.

🏆 Event List
Sagas
Sagas spawn mobs across the world in timeline order through the anime story arcs. There are two sides: Evil and Good. Sagas auto-run after one completes.
- Difficulty Levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, Extreme, Insane, Godly. Higher difficulty = stronger mob stats, better EXP, and smarter AI
- Change difficulty at Yamcha or the Mall Mascot
- Some saga mobs are stronger than normal and have quests attached — keep an eye out and circle back to complete them!
Mayhem
Open PvP free-for-all event. Earn Guild Points by participating. One of the main sources of GP alongside Guild Tournament.
Ranked Battle Arena (RBA)
Competitive 1v1 tournament bracket. Win matches to earn RBA Tokens, which exchange for ZP (10 ZP per exchange) at the PVP Broker in the Mall.
Tournament of Power (ToP)
Universe vs Universe elimination event. Earn Universe Points (UP) for participation and wins.
Winner: 1,500 levels + 50 ZP + 25 Universe Points
Mystical Cavern
Dungeon event. Earn Cavern Stat Pills (6× stat gain for 30 min) and other rewards. Crocodile Meat (from Roshi's island) is useful for healing inside. Golden Frieza spawns here with a 50% chance to drop the Cavern Stat Pill.
Conquest
Territory control event. Win zones to earn Universe Points. Guild coordination is important for Conquest.
Kill the King
Your stats are balanced and set for this event. Kill the opposing team's King while protecting yours at the same time. Play strategically!
Loser: Levels + Zenni + 1 PVP Token · Winner: Levels + Zenni + 3 PVP Tokens
Team Deathmatch (TDM)
Team PvP event. Coordinate with your team to eliminate the opposing side.
Pillar Event
Universe members sign up to protect their pillar and destroy other universe towers. Your stats are balanced and set for this event. Unlimited respawns until your tower is destroyed.
Lower reward: +1,500 levels · +50 ZP · +100 Universe Points
Grand Maze
Players sign up for a loot bag hunt, followed by forced PvP once 4 players remain. Loot bags can contain a wide variety of rewards. Player kills drop better loot bags.
Red Ribbon Battle Tower
Your stats are balanced and set for this event. Collect both the Red Star and Blue Star Dragon Balls, then enter the Red Ribbon Tower. Killing players will drop them. Exit the Forest of Chaos to win.
Loser reward: +750 levels + 1 PVP Token
Daily Quests
Available every 18 hours. Complete quests for Daily Quest Tokens (DQ). Spend at the DQ Rewards Store for:
- Cavern Stat Pill (12 tokens)
- Club Ticket (10 tokens)
- Reset Hakai Cooldown (10 tokens)
- Stat boosts, TNL modifiers, pills
Capture the Flag (CTF)
Team-based flag capture event. Coordinate with your team to grab the enemy flag and return it to base.
Bounty Hunter
Earn rewards by reaching kill milestones. At 300 kills you earn a Club Ticket. Rewards scale with kill count — check the Bounty Hunter NPC for current thresholds.

💡 Remember: Leave your guild (or transfer ownership) before every rebirth. Failing to do so may cause issues with your rebirth.

Guilds are player-run groups. They have their own Guild House, upgradeable facilities, a shared Guild Bank, and compete in Guild Events for Guild Points (GP).
- Create a Guild: Use the Create Guild verb. Costs Zenni.
- Join a Guild: Get invited by a Guild Leader or Co-Leader
- Guild Rank Roles: Leader → Co-Leader → Member
- Guild Bank: Shared Zenni pool. Officers and Leaders can deposit/withdraw.
- Guild House: Private area for guild members with training facilities.

GP is the guild progression currency. Sources:

Rules
⚠️ Rule 15 is the Common Sense Rule. Attempting to exploit loopholes or bypass the spirit of the rules is punishable. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
- 1Respect Players & Staff. Treat all players and staff with respect. Harassment, excessive toxicity, racism, discrimination, or attempts to undermine staff decisions may result in punishment.
- 2No Spam. Spamming, excessive caps, advertising other games, or posting inappropriate/adult links in chat is prohibited.
- 3No Unfair Training Assistance. Do not use automation, macros, bots, scripts, or third-party programs to assist training, Shadow Sparring, Focus Meditation, mobbing, casino activities, or any other gameplay progression.
- 4No Bug Abuse. Exploiting bugs, glitches, unintended mechanics, or attempting to bypass game systems is prohibited. Report bugs to staff instead.
- 5No Spam Killing. Do not intentionally kill the same player (or their alts, including your own) 3 or more times within one hour. This does not apply in competitive PvP zones, mobbing areas, or locations that display a PvP warning upon entry.
- 6Do Not Disrupt Gameplay. Do not interfere with tournaments, arena challenges, player-run events, or other organized activities. This includes blocking entrances or exits, camping training or mobbing locations, or doorway/pathway camping.
- 7No Event Abuse or Throwing. Do not intentionally lose, sabotage, collude, suicide to alter outcomes, use alts to influence results, or otherwise disrupt team-based events.
- 8Alt & Multi-Key Rules. Multi-keying is permitted, however you may not join the same event with multiple accounts, participate in multiple events simultaneously, use alts to avoid Jail or Hakai restrictions, or use alts for griefing, alt-killing, farming, or other malicious purposes.
- 9Account Sharing. Account sharing is only permitted for AFK purposes. Playing, mobbing, farming, or progressing another player's account is not allowed.
- 10Fair Play & Competitive Integrity. Abuse of the Universe G.o.D. system, title trading, collusion, or alt interaction with the system is prohibited.
- 11Custom Icons & Client Modifications. Off-centered, incorrectly sized, explicit, or full-body hiding icons are prohibited. Adjusting font sizes is also forbidden. Ask staff if unsure.
- 12Safe Zone Protections. You may not Hakai players as they leave safe zones, including Player Houses, Guild Houses, the Megamall, and similar protected locations.
- 13Follow Staff Decisions. Do not argue with or attempt to bypass staff decisions in-game. If you believe a decision was unfair, contact an Owner or create a Discord ticket.
- 14Stay Updated. Players are responsible for keeping up with rule changes. Not knowing a rule is not an excuse.
- 15Common Sense Rule. Attempting to exploit loopholes, bypass rules, abuse unintended mechanics, or act against the spirit of the rules is punishable. Staff have final authority in unclear situations and will provide reasoning upon request.
